Gastro / Commercial The interior design of Július Meinl cafés was inspired by the graphic design of their packaging. We sought to apply this significant element within the space in a way that would make it memorable and distinctive for visitors. Another eye-catching feature of every café is the bar unit. Each is designed differently, yet always departs from traditional solutions. In the case of the Bory Mall location, the organic arched bar cladding was crafted by an artistic blacksmith based on our design. The typical color palette is defined by the use of natural light wood, contrasted with dark tones and accented by metal elements and upholstery in red, yellow, and blue. The color ratio is 70% neutral colors, 20% red, 10% yellow, and 10% blue. Custom-made furniture is an important part of the interior. The red boudoir booths with high backrests also serve a space-defining purpose and stylishly capture the essence of an elegant urban café. A clear inspiration derived from the graphic motifs of Meinl coffee, as well as from coffee itself, flows throughout the entire interior, from the color scheme to the milled details on the walls.
