Gastro / Commercial In a high-ceilinged corner space within a new building in Prague's Pankrác district, we designed and implemented a modern canteen that adds a cozy feel to the building's cold, metal-and-glass-based concept. The three-story facility, divided into underground storage, a ground-floor kitchen, and seating areas extending from the ground floor to the upper level, is designed to provide lunch menus for 180 people. A specific challenge of the canteen project at the Main Point administrative center in Pankrác was to reconcile the building's technocratic design concept with the idea of a welcoming canteen for people. We combined bold, vibrant accent colors with neutral tones of gray, white, and black, along with a significant amount of wood. This resulted in a fresh space that feels comfortable and tasteful. The bold color combinations, paired with the technocratic spirit of the new Main Point building, create a fresh and playful final result.
